Every piece of custom apparel that leaves Eich's Sports goes through a hands-on production process. We don't outsource — our screen printers, embroidery technicians, and heat-press operators work in-house, which means tighter quality control, faster turnaround, and a team that genuinely takes pride in every order.
Whether it's a 12-piece youth baseball jersey run or a 500-shirt school fundraiser, the same attention to detail goes into every job. Here's a look at how we do it.
The Process
Screen Printing
Screen printing starts with your artwork. Our art team separates each color into individual films, burns them onto mesh screens, and then layers ink through each screen onto the garment — one color at a time. The result is a bold, vibrant print that holds up wash after wash.
- 1
Art Prep
Artwork is color-separated and output to film positives.
- 2
Screen Burning
Each film is exposed onto a photo-emulsion coated screen.
- 3
Ink Mixing
Plastisol inks are mixed to match your exact Pantone colors.
- 4
Printing
Garments are loaded onto the press and each color is printed in sequence.
- 5
Curing
Printed garments pass through a conveyor dryer to cure the ink permanently.
- 6
Quality Check
Every piece is inspected before folding, bagging, and packing.
The Process
Embroidery
Embroidery starts with digitizing — converting your logo into a stitch file that tells our machines exactly where every needle goes. Our multi-head embroidery machines then stitch your design directly into the fabric, creating a textured, professional finish that's built to last.
- 1
Digitizing
Your logo is converted into an embroidery stitch file by our art team.
- 2
Hooping
Garments are hooped and stabilized to prevent shifting during stitching.
- 3
Stitching
Our multi-head machines embroider your design with precision thread placement.
- 4
Trimming
Jump threads are trimmed and backing is removed for a clean finish.
- 5
Inspection
Each piece is checked for stitch density, alignment, and color accuracy.
The Process
Heat Transfer & DTF
Direct-to-film (DTF) printing lets us produce full-color, photorealistic transfers with no minimums. Designs are printed onto a special film, coated with adhesive powder, and heat-pressed onto the garment. It's ideal for complex artwork, small runs, and one-off custom pieces.
- 1
File Prep
Artwork is prepared and output to our DTF printer at full color.
- 2
Film Printing
Designs are printed onto transfer film using CMYK + white ink.
- 3
Powder Coating
Hot-melt adhesive powder is applied and cured to the printed film.
- 4
Heat Press
The transfer is pressed onto the garment at precise temperature and pressure.
- 5
Peel & Inspect
Film is peeled away and the finished piece is inspected for adhesion and clarity.
