Indoor sports complex is official practice facility of Eich's Grinders Baseball and Eich's Spikes Volleyball Club Team.

Plainfield , Illinois …….. Eich’s holds the distinction of being the only family owned sporting goods store in Plainfield .  Chuck and his wife, Betty Eich started out in a small shop located on Route 30 in November, 1988.  The store continued to grow at a rapid pace as Plainfield grew.  Eich’s dared to be different.  That’s because in addition to a wide assortment of sporting goods, the store also featured indoor batting cages.   

 On December 6, 2008, the Eich family, Chuck,  Betty,  daughter Tracy , and their son Brian will be reaching another milestone with the opening of their new Eich’s Indoor Sports Complex attached to the current Plainfield location building. 

This complex will be able to host any number of sporting practices.  It will have an 85’ x 100’ state of the art gymnasium floor that can accommodate practices for baseball/softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and even pickle ball and yoga classes.   They also plan to offer fitness classes and Pre-School Sports activities throughout the day.  Spectators will be able to view practices from the upper skybox level.  For the aspiring baseball/softball player, hitting and pitching instruction is also offered.  Eich’s also plans on hiring a full compliment of Sport Specific Trainers for all sports!
