Charles & Betty Eich founded Eich's Sports in 1988. Eich's was originally located on Rt 30. Charles and Betty opened up the Coal City store in 1995 and has been servicing the area ever since. In 2005, Eich's outgrew their original location and moved to their current location on 143rd St. We currently have 6 indoor batting cages and have recently added a 9500 square foot multi-purpose gym! Most recently, in January 2012, we opened up our 3rd location in the historis Downton Lemont on Main Street. We are very excited to bring our expertise to the Lemont area!
Eich's Sports is still a family business. Tracy (Eich) Mueller runs the sales & retail area of the entire company, while Brian Eich runs the Sports Complex in Plainfield.
Joanne Burnes has been managing the Coal City store for over 15 years.
Eich's currently is proud to employ over 25 people.
